Hair care, especially masking, is one of those quiet routines that feels more like a pause than a task. I don’t always rush through it.
Sometimes it becomes the moment where everything slows down a bit, and the focus shifts to something simple and comforting.
These two hair masks both lean into that kind of experience, but each one brings its own texture, scent, and after-feel.
Ziaja Cocoa Butter Hair Mask
This one feels rich in a very comforting way. The texture is creamy and spreads easily through the hair, making the application feel smooth without any struggle. I like how it doesn’t feel overly complicated — just apply, wait a bit, then rinse, and the hair already feels different. What stands out most is the soft, nourished feeling afterward.
Makarizo Texture Experience Black Chocolate
This one feels more intense in both scent and texture. The chocolate aroma is stronger and more noticeable, almost like it turns the bathroom into a small spa-like space for a while. The cream itself feels smooth and coats the hair nicely, making it easy to distribute from mid-length to ends.
After rinsing, the hair feels softer and more controlled, like it has less frizz and more shape. I like using this when my hair feels a bit rough or difficult to manage because it gives a more noticeable transformation.
Both masks have their own charm. Ziaja Cocoa Butter feels gentle and comforting, like an easy weekly care step, while Makarizo Black Chocolate feels a bit more indulgent and noticeable in its results. Depending on what my hair needs, I switch between the two without thinking too much — just following whether I want something soft and simple or something a bit more intensive and rich.
